Want an embedded YouTube video to begin at a certain point? For example, you don’t want people to sit through an entire interview to hear a particular point that’s made. Making the video start at that point is easy to do.
Just stop the video where you want people to begin viewing. In this case I’ve stopped at the 26 second mark:
Just below the video’s Share link, there’s a box. Because I’ve stopped at 26 seconds, that value shows in the box. Or I could enter a particular time.
By checking the box next to Start at, you can see how the starting time is added to the end of the Share URL.
When visitors click play on my embedded video, it begins playing at the 26 second mark. Visitors can, of course, go back and see the entire video if they want.
